My name is Charles Emery, and I created this website to help travelers better understand the world of private aviation, compare charter options, discover opportunities to save money, and make more informed decisions when you book private jet flights.
Unlike many websites with in this space, my journey into private aviation did not begin in the cockpit or anywhere near the charter jet industry @ all. My professional background is in commercial real estate finance, where I have spent many years helping clients structure and secure debt and equity capital for commercial real estate projects worldwide.
However, I’ve always been fascinated by travel, entrepreneurship, and the freedom that comes from being able to go wherever you want, whenever you wanna go.
For more than a decade, I lived and worked in Nagoya, Japan. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for international travel, cultural experiences, and the immense value of our precious time. Currently, my bi-cultural and bilingual immediate family lives in Philadelphia, PA (USA) and we continue to maintain strong ties with Japan, which we visit as often as possible.
As I began researching private aviation, I quickly realized that much of the information available online was either overly promotional, confusing, or written for industry insiders rather than everyday travelers. So, I created BookPrivateJetFlights.com to bridge that gap by providing practical, straightforward information about private jet charter, empty-leg opportunities, aircraft categories, pricing considerations, booking strategies, and a myriad of travel destinations, many of which are much easier to get to via private aircraft.
One of the things I enjoy most about this industry is that private aviation is no longer reserved exclusively for celebrities, billionaires, and Fortune 500 executives. New charter models, empty-leg flights, jet card programs, and shared-flight options have made private aviation more accessible than many people realize.
This website is the result of my ongoing research into the private aviation industry and my desire to share what I learn with others. My goal is simple: help you better understand private jet flight options, avoid costly mistakes, and make better-informed travel decisions.
On a personal level, I also view private aviation as a symbol of freedom. My vision is to one day have the flexibility to travel with my family wherever life takes us—whether that’s visiting relatives in Japan, exploring New Zealand, discovering new destinations around the world, or simply making travel more efficient and enjoyable.
