How to Book an Empty Leg Jet Flight

Review the departure and destination airports, travel date, aircraft and advertised price. Select a suitable listing to confirm its current availability and booking conditions directly with PrivJet.

Empty leg flights generally follow an aircraft’s existing repositioning schedule, so flexibility with your departure time and airports can make a meaningful difference. Confirm all details, including cancellation terms and the final price, before committing.

Empty Leg Flights vs. On-Demand Private Jet Charter

With an on-demand charter, you typically request an aircraft for your preferred route and schedule. An empty leg is different: the aircraft is already scheduled to reposition, and the available route and departure window are largely predetermined. This can create reduced-price opportunities, but it also means fewer options and less scheduling flexibility.

Before you book: Empty leg flights can be changed or canceled when the underlying aircraft schedule changes. Confirm the operator, itinerary, passenger capacity, total cost and applicable terms with the booking provider.
